Since the introduction of the euro, a number of German euro commemorative coins with a nominal value of €10 have been issued every year, which are only legal tender in Germany. There are also €2 coins with a commemorative design, which are accepted as legal tender in all euro-area countries.

This €10 commemorative coin will be issued from 11 April 2013. The mint-condition coins can be purchased at all branches of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
