Based on a harmonised set of rules for the Eurosystem, the Bundesbank offers a wide range of services to central banks, monetary authorities and international organisations outside the Euro area to enable them to invest their euro-denominated monetary reserves.

Passive portfolio management

As from 1 July 2016 the Bundesbank will be adding passive portfolio management to its range of euro reserve management services.


Monitoring TARGET2

Reserve Management Services

Correspondence account management and payment services, automated overnight deposits, fixed-term deposits, safe custody account management and forex trading.

Training courses for foreign central bank employees

Technical Central Bank Cooperation provides training for senior employees of other central banks as well as project consultancy.

Cash Processing Center (CPC)

The Deutsche Bundesbank and the Banco de España offer national central banks the option of using a test centre for cash processing systems as well as banking services.
