International Convergence of Capital Measurement and Capital Standards: A Revised Framework

The central bank governors of the Group of Ten (G10) and the heads of the supervisory authorities in these countries met on 26 June and endorsed the publication of the International Convergence of Capital Measurements and Capital Standards: A Revised Framework Basel II.

In a special meeting at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the Framework adopted by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision was approved and released for publication.

The Framework is currently available only in Englisch. An unofficial German translation by the Deutsche Bundesbank is expected to be available by mid-July.
