Slovakia

The €1 and €2 coins depict the double cross on three hills, which is based on Slovakia’s coat of arms and symbolises the country’s stability. Bratislava Castle, which is depicted on the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins, is considered a national cultural monument. The Kriván mountain in the High Tatras on the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins is a symbol of the protection of Slovakia’s independence.
