ExtraNet

Access to CashEDI (Cash Electronic Data Interchange) is provided via the Deutsche Bundesbank’s ExtraNet .

ExtraNet guarantees a secure basic infrastructure for access to the Bundesbank's web-based applications and for the confidential transmission of data between the customer and ExtraNet. This is accomplished through encrypted data transmission, which is based on the latest encryption version of Secure Socket Layer technology and on the secure https internet protocol.

Secure access is guaranteed through central authorisation for all applications in ExtraNet by means of a user ID and password.

The ground rules for using ExtraNet are contained in the General Terms and Conditions for ExtraNet as well as the special regulations for CashEDI, which have to be accepted by all CashEDI participants when they create their users.
