Operating hours
ExtraNet has been available to customers of the various business units at the Deutsche Bundesbank since early December 2002.
It operates during the times indicated below:
Production environment
The ExtraNet procedures can be accessed in the production environment from Monday to Sunday between 0.00 and 24.00.
Any maintenance work will be carried out during the following maintenance windows:
- Monday to Friday: 20.00 to 04.00
- Saturday: 0.00 to 9.00 and 16.00 to 24.00
- Sunday: 0.00 to 24.00
Users may experience short-term malfunctions or failures during these periods.
Additionally, the ExtraNet procedures specified below may be accessed in the production environment at the following times.

Test environment (AI)
As a rule, the ExtraNet procedures can be accessed in the test environment from Monday to Thursday between 9.00 and 20.00. For testing the applications KEV (Credit claims – Submission and administration) and OMTOS (Open Market Tender Operation System) the test environment is accessible between 9.00 and 15.00. The ExtraNet Call Centre should be notified in advance about all test activities.
