This Website provides information concerning financial sanctions, i. e. concerning restrictions on the free movement of capital and payments. Besides general information on the regulatory structure of financial sanctions, there is information in particular on financial sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the European Union and national authorities. You will also find the pertinent legal acts.

With the exception of some general explanations, we provide information on financial sanctions and legal acts in German only. However, EU legal acts on financial sanctions can be found in all official EU languages on the European Union's Website (http://eur-lex.europa.eu).
