The Deutsche Bundesbank is responsible for collecting data relating to external sector statistics and banking statistics.

It also assumes the responsibility for collecting reports relating to banking supervision.

Information on XMW, the XML-based reporting system of the Deutsche Bundesbank, can be found under "Electronical submission" in the "Reporting for external sector statistics" section, under "Formats (XML)" (German only) in the "Banking statistics" section and under "Formats (XML, XBRL and EMW)" in the "Prudential supervisory reporting system" section.
