Electronic submission via the ExtraNet

The ExtraNet is the Bundesbank’s e-business platform.

This electronic platform provides services to our customers using state-of-the-art internet technology. Among other things, procedures that previously involved the use of paper or data media are now fully automated and streamlined. Further information on the ExtraNet can be found here.

General statistics reporting portal (AMS)

Alongside other procedures already in use, the General statistics reporting portal (AMS) is the latest platform for quickly and easily submitting statistical reports via the ExtraNet. For the first time it is possible to create, manage and securely send the Bundesbank all reporting forms (both transaction reports and stock reports) via one system. This system is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for individuals and financial institutions.

Before submitting reports electronically via the reporting portal for the first time, you only have to apply for a reporting number and complete an initial registration or secondary registration form.

• Third-party submitter option (they report on behalf of parties required to report: tax advisors, lawyers, notaries, parent companies etc)

Further forms of submission

Submission of electronic reports in data record formats (Filetransfer for secure delivery (upload) and collection (download) of files via browser or automated access).

Before submitting reporting data electronically for the first time, you have to apply for a company identification number and complete an initial registration or secondary registration form.

A company identification number is required for the submission via ExtraNet as well as the registration.
