Reports via ExtraNet

General information

ExtraNet enables you to submit your reports electronically. This saves time and simplifies the reporting procedure. To protect your sensitive data, however, you are required to register so that each user can be entered into the two-step code system (user ID and password).

If you wish to contact us, please use the following e-mail address.

Contact

Initial registration

Click on the link below to apply for user registration. Please enter your 8-digit firm number (including check digit) in the relevant field. If you have not yet submitted a foreign trade and payments form, you must first contact the relevant division of the Deutsche Bundesbank to obtain a firm number.

The “Forward” button will take you to the user profile. Please answer all questions marked with a red asterisk; where an address is required, please do not enter the personal address of the user but that of the reporting enterprise. Multiple users should be registered so that it is easier to replace users in the case of absence. For the sake of simplicity, it is better if you answer “yes” to the question “Secret question for resetting password?”. Click on “Complete registration” to finalise the procedure. Download and print out the registration form and send it signed to the Deutsche Bundesbank (see address on sheet 1). Your application will already contain a user ID (8-digit alpha code) generated for each user. A PIN letter containing an additional password for each user will be posted to you. The user ID and password together authorise you to submit your reports electronically. The various types of reports and reporting forms are listed under “Submission of electronic reports”. If you are already personally registered for another procedure on the Bundesbank ExtraNet, please use the link “Administration of your registration data/secondary registration”.

Registered user

Within the user domain, you may view and change your personal registration data. You may also delete your user ID. If you are already registered for another procedure on the Bundesbank ExtraNet, you may log on here for an additional procedure without having to go through the initial registration procedure.

Emergency help

In emergencies, it is possible (even without a user ID and/or PIN) to submit an application to the Deutsche Bundesbank to have a user blocked or unblocked, to reset a user’s password or to completely delete the user. The Bundesbank then decides whether to carry out the application.

If you answered “yes” to the question “Secret question for resetting password?”, you can also reset your password by phoning the ExtraNet Call Centre. This may be necessary, for example, if you have forgotten your password or have entered it incorrectly three times in succession. However, you may only reset your password by phone if, following a successful initial registration at “A dministration of your registration data / secondary registration” you entered a question-answer combination , which serves as a security check .

Submission of reports

If you wish to send your K3/K4 reports via ExtraNet, call up the mask for your user name/user ID (8 capital letters) and your password (case-sensitive) by double-clicking the following button. Once you have been authorised, please continue by following the steps explained there.
