Reporting queries

If you have any general queries concerning the external reporting system, please contact one of the Deutsche Bundesbank’s four Service Centres (SC) for External Sector Audits and Reporting Queries. The adjacent map shows which region each service centre is responsible for.

External sector audits

Pursuant to section 44 of the Foreign Trade and Payments Act (Außenwirtschaftsgesetz) the Bundesbank may request information for the purpose of monitoring compliance with this Act and with the regulations and orders issued in connection with this Act as well as with legislation introduced by the Council or the Commission of the European Communities under foreign trade and payments law. To this end it may also perform audits on parties required to report.

Within the framework of their audits, the four Service Centres for External Sector Audits and Reporting Queries monitor compliance with the relevant external reporting regulations and special restrictions applying to capital movements and payments (financial sanctions).
