As one of Europe’s major central banks, we can offer you attractive career prospects! Joining the Bundesbank will launch you on a career path in the Higher Service, Upper Intermediate Service, Intermediate Service or Lower Service, each with its own special development opportunities.

The service level at which you begin your career with the Bundesbank depends on your education or training.

If you come to us with a university degree, (accredited) Masters or an equivalent qualification, you will be recruited into the Higher Service (Career prospects in the Higher Service).

If you come to us as a graduate with a diploma, Bachelors or an equivalent qualification from a University of Applied Sciences, you will be recruited into the Upper Intermediate Service (Career prospects in the Upper Intermediate Service).

Depending on the level of their educational achievements, school-leavers will start their careers in the Upper Intermediate Service (Career prospects in the Upper Intermediate Service), the Intermediate Service (Career prospects in the Intermediate Service) or the Lower Service (Career prospects in the Lower Service).
