Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS)

German contribution to the consolidated balance sheet of the euro-area MFIs

The publication of the following indicators is prescribed in the SDDS data category "Analytical Accounts of the Banking Sector": "Domestic credit to the public sector in the euro area", "Domestic credit to the private sector in the euro area", "External assets (gross)", "External liabilities (gross)" and "Monetary aggregates" (memo item).

Within one month after the end of the reference day, the Bundesbank posts the table "German contribution to the consolidated balance sheet of the euro-area monetary financial institutions (MFIs)" on the internet, from which these indicators can be derived. The connection between the items in the German contribution to the consolidated balance sheet and the SDDS indicators can be derived from this separate PDF overview.

The SDDS data category "Analytical Accounts of the Banking Sector" can be found on the National Summary Data Page, which contains all the current indicators for Germany.

Further information about the German contribution to the consolidated balance sheet is available in the PDF explanatory notes on the table.
