Visiting researchers

The Bundesbank provides opportunities for visiting researchers to spend some time in the Research Centre. These opportunities are intended primarily for academics and postdoctoral students working in the field of economics. The study period at the Research Centre is intended to contribute to work on a research project in the fields of macroeconomics, financial economics, financial markets or international relations. A period of research at the Bundesbank can last up to six months.

Remuneration is in line with the visiting researcher's professional experience.
