Researchers
The Research Centre has nine permanent members of staff, an alternating group of about 16 researchers, and guest researchers. One of the projects overseen by the permanent members of staff is the Bundesbank's structural macro model. The researchers work on fixed-period research projects (generally lasting six months).
Dr Heinz Herrmann is the Head of the Research Centre. His deputies are Dr Frank Heid in the area of financial stability, Dr Klaus Düllmann in the area of banking and financial supervision, and Dr Karl Heinz Tödter in the area of econometrics.
