The December 2018 edition of the Bundesbank’s Monthly Report outlines the prospects for the German economy on the basis of projections for 2019 and 2020, with a look ahead at the year 2021. The September 2020 edition of the Monthly Report analyses the impact of monetary policy on the euro exchange rate and investigates global financial interconnectedness as well as spillover effects between the G20 countries. In addition, it discusses the performance of German credit institutions in 2019.

The July 2020 Monthly Report looks at the German current account surplus through the lens of macroeconomic models and examines the extent to which German households store cash, as well as their reasons for doing so.
