 Objective\n\nTransparency and communication are crucial for central bank
 s’ credibility and the effectiveness of their policies. In order to fost
 er credibility\, central banks need to increase their transparency. They
  can achieve this by engaging in clear communication and producing focus
 ed messages aimed at different target audiences using appropriate commun
 ication channels.\n\nThis course provides an overview of the Bundesbank’
 s external communication work within the Eurosystem. It sheds light on t
 he concepts\, channels and content of our central bank communications. P
 articipants will learn how the Bundesbank communicates with the press an
 d the general public whilst also touching upon the educational services 
 we offer schools. Participants will also have the opportunity to experie
 nce a guided tour of the Bundesbank’s Money Museum.\n\nCommunication is 
 a key driving force behind employee motivation\, the course will also de
 al with different approaches and formats used for internal communication
  at the Bundesbank and how this communication is evaluated. Participants
  will gain insight into how the Bundesbank fosters communication between
  top management and employees\, as well as communication within peer gro
 ups.\n\nIn addition\, the course will give participants an opportunity t
 o share their experiences and discuss best practices in the field of cen
 tral bank communication.\n\nContent\nMedia relations and media evaluatio
 n\nCommunication with the general public\nCommunication via social media
  and the Bundesbank’s website\nInternal communication (direct communicat
 ion formats) and internal media (staff magazine\; social intranet\; elec
 tronic newsletter)\nPolitical communication\nEconomic education\nEmploye
 e attitude survey\nAI in translation and how it helps central banks\n\nT
 arget group\n\nThe course is aimed at central bank staff working in the 
 area of central bank communication (public relations\, press office\, et
 c.) or actively dealing with communication issues in other areas of thei
 r institutions. Applicants should be willing to share their experiences 
 and actively contribute to discussions during the course.\n\nPlease note
  \n\nA nominating person is mandatory for the participation in our in-pe
 rson courses.
