Comment on 1991-01-07	With effect from 7 January 1991, the exchange rates were adjusted sharply. The most recent exchange rates (buying/selling) before and after the change which were known to us were: 6 January 1991: DEM 100 = HUF 4,072.07 / 4,080.23 7 January 1991: DEM 100 = HUF 4,676.95 / 4,686.31 On the basis of these exchange rates, the Hungarian forint depreciated by 12.9%.
