On 12 January 1980, the South Korean won was devalued. We recorded the last exchange rates (buying/selling rate) prior and the first rates after the devaluation as follows: 11 January 1980: DEM 1 = KRW 280.57 / 281.13 12 January 1980: DEM 1 = KRW 335.92 / 339.28 On the basis of the above-mentioned rates, the South Korean won depreciated by 16.8% (on average). |
