General * Multiple exchange rate system; alongside the market rates there are official exchange rates, which apply only to foreign exchange transactions between the central bank and domestic and foreign commercial banks, public sector institutions, money transfer institutions and foreign exchange bureaux, see BBEX3:M:IQD:EUR:CA:AC:A01.
Methodology The comparable rates were calculated on the basis of the buying and selling rates (market rates) for the US dollar in Iraq in conjunction with the respective euro reference exchange rate of the European Central Bank for the US dollar.
