In October, the Ghana cedi depreciated more strongly. Calculated using the exchange rates from the end of September and the end of October 2022, the Ghana cedi depreciated by 26.8% against the euro. In December, the Ghana cedi appreciated strongly. Calculated using the exchange rates from the end of November and the end of December 2022, the Ghana cedi appreciated by 48.5% against the euro. |

With effect from 1 July 2007, a currency conversion took place at the rate of 10,000 cedi (GHC) = 1 Ghana cedi (GHS); the exchange rates calculated between January and June 2007 were included in the calculation at the rate of GHC 10,000 = GHS 1. |
