General Constituent republic of Yugoslavia until 24 June 1991. On 8 October 1991 the Slovenian tolar (SIT) was introduced as the country´s own currency. The Yugoslav dinar was converted to Slovenian tolar at a rate of 1:1. Comment on 1992-02 On 1 February 1992, the tolar was devalued. We recorded the following exchange rates (buying/selling/middle rate) for this date: DEM 100 = SIT 4,397.9963 / 4,424.4637 / 4,411.2300 Calculated devaluation against the rates recorded at end-January 1992: 15.4%.
