With effect from 1 January 1995, a currency changeover took place at the ratio of 10,000 (old) Polish zloty (PLZ) = 1 (new) Polish zloty (PLN); the (old) Polish zloty also remained legal tender in this ratio until the end of 1996. Exchange rates until 1994, see BBEX3.A.PLZ.USD.CA.AC.A04.
