Basic rate of interest pursuant to section 247 of the German Civil Code
Pursuant to section 247 (2) of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch), the Deutsche Bundesbank is required to announce the current basic rate of interest in the Federal Law Gazette (Bundesanzeiger). The currently applicable basic rate of interest can be found in the following table.
