 ls from central banks and supervisory authorities with climate expertise

 ir expertise on climate\, nature\, and broader sustainability challenges
  from a strategic perspective. Participants will explore in depth how cl
 imate change and nature loss present economic and financial risks\, and 
 how central banks are integrating these considerations into their strate
 gies\, analytical frameworks\, policy development\, and supervisory prac
 tices.\n\nThe programme delivers a comprehensive and forward-looking cur
 riculum\, ideal for those with existing climate-risk knowledge who wish

 w\, please refer to our “Understanding Climate Risk” course.\n\nThe cour
 se content follows the recommendations of the Network for Greening the F
 inancial System’s (NGFS) "Sustainability Training Reference Guide" (STaR
  Guide)\, available via the Climate Training Alliance (CTA) Portal. The 
 STaR Guide offers a structured approach for central banks and financial 
 supervisors to systematically build capacity in climate-related and envi
 ronmental domains – an essential step in accelerating the development of
  expertise of the NGFS community.\n\nContent (non-exhaustive)\nFrom clim
 ate change to climate risks: origins and transmission channels of climat
 e-related risks.\nClimate change as an economic and financial risk: inte
 grating climate-risk considerations into central bank strategies\, monet
 ary policy\, analysis\, and operations.\nClimate risk in the financial s
 ystem: stress tests\, scenarios\, and macroprudential measures.\nClimate
  finance/ Green bond markets\nThe global policy toolkit: an overview of 
 policy measures and tools affecting the environment in which central ban
 ks and supervisory authorities operate\nSustainability within central ba
 nks: Lessons from reporting\, data management\, and sustainable cash han
 dling.\n\nTarget group\n\nThis course is designed for junior and senior 
 experts\, as well as middle-management officials in central banks or sup
 ervisory authorities\, who are involved in economic analysis\, internati
 onal relations\, monetary policy\, or strategic planning. It is particul
 arly suited for professionals addressing the multifaceted challenges of 
 climate\, nature\, and sustainability\, and who wish to broaden their ex
