DESCRIPTION:Objective\n\nTransparency and communication are crucial for c
 entral banks’ credibility and the effectiveness of their policies. In or
 der to foster credibility\, central banks need to enhance transparency. 
 They can achieve this by engaging in clear communication\, producing tar
 geted messages for different audiences through appropriate communication
  channels.\n\nThis course provides an overview of the Bundesbank’s exter
 nal communication work within the Eurosystem. It sheds light on the conc
 epts\, channels and content of the Bundesbank’s central bank communicati
 ons. Participants will learn how the Bundesbank communicates with the pr
 ess and the general public whilst also exploring the educational service
 s it offers to schools. Participants will also have the opportunity to t
 ake part in a guided tour of the Bundesbank’s money museum.\n\nAs effect
 ive internal communication is a key driver of employee engagement\, the 
 course will also deal with different approaches and formats used for int
 ernal communication at the Bundesbank and the evaluation of these commun
 ication activities. Participants will gain insight into how the Bundesba
 nk fosters communication between top management and employees as well as
  communication within peer groups. In addition\, the course will give pa
 rticipants an opportunity to share their experiences and discuss best pr
 actices in the field of central bank communication.\n\nContents\nMedia r
 elations and media evaluation\nCommunication with citizens (e.g. the Bun
 desbank’s event space and new children’s book)\nCommunication via social
  media and the Bundesbank’s website\, video and streaming\nInternal comm
 unication (direct communication formats) and internal media (staff magaz
 ine\; social intranet\; electronic newsletter)\nPolitical communication\
 nEconomic education and Bundesbank’s money museum\nThe role of GenAI in 
 the communications department\n\nTarget group\n\nThe course is aimed at 
 central bank staff working in the area of central bank communication (pu
 blic relations\, press office\, etc.) or actively dealing with communica
 tion issues in other areas of their institutions. Applicants should be w
 illing to share their experiences and actively contribute to discussions
  during the course.
