 ill take place between 02 and 04 March and will be preceded by an online
  guidance for drafting a use case proposal about 2 weeks ahead of the wo
 rkshop.\n\nIf you want to refresh your expertise and knowledge on select
 ed advanced machine learning methods ahead of the workshop\, we recommen
 d you to also register for and participate in our online course “Machine
  Learning Methods” from 15 to 16 February 2026.\n\nObjective\n\nMachine 
 learning is revolutionizing the financial sector\, offering powerful too
 ls for data analysis and informed decision-making. This course is design
 ed for experienced professionals looking to harness these methods within
  their organization.\n\nThe course consists of an agile development work
 shop in which participants further develop their research or analytical 
 use cases and address the conceptual and practical challenges associated
  with their implementation. It features hands-on ideation\, programming\
 , and collaboration sessions\, including feedback from the moderators an
 d peer-groups. Throughout the course\, participants are expected to regu
 larly present their progress\, share their insights\, and provide feedba
 ck to peers.\n\nThe online part will guide participants in drafting a on
 e-pager describing a selected use case in their domain\, which they will
  develop during the workshop.\n\nThis course provides a forum for centra
 l bankers\, regulators\, and supervisors to discuss strategies for devel
 oping and implementing use cases that leverage advanced machine learning
  methods. It presents a unique setting for exchanging knowledge and fost
 ering collaborative innovation.\n\nContents\nConceptual refining of use 
 cases\nAgile development\nHands-on programming\nCollaborative exchange a
 nd feedback sessions\n\nTarget group\n\nThe course is aimed at data-savv
 y central bankers\, regulators and supervisors in areas such as informat
 ion technology and statistics\, or research departments interested in im
 plementing machine learning methods.\n\nRequirements\n\nParticipants are
  expected to actively contribute to the discussions. They will be asked 
 to present their use case and provide feedback on the projects presented
  by other participants.\nUse case: Participation requires you to submit 
 and present a use case for implementing machine learning in your jurisdi
 ction. You will further develop this use case during the workshop. After
  registration\, we will contact all applicants and ask them to provide a
  brief description of their use case or project. If you would like to br
 ing one additional colleague to Frankfurt to help further develop and pr
 esent the project as a team\, please indicate this in your application.\
 nTechnical requirements: Please bring your own device to the workshop an
 d ensure that Python is installed and working properly so that you can w
 ork locally. Please also bring any sample data you intend to use for you
 r use case and ensure that it is accessible on your device.\nLanguage an
 d software skills: Participants should have a good command of English an
 d sound knowledge of data analysis and statistical software\, including 
 Python commands.
