DESCRIPTION:Objective\n\nArtificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transfor
 ming the financial sector and poses both significant opportunities and c
 omplex challenges for central banks. AI encompasses a broad spectrum of 
 technologies\, ranging from traditional rule-based systems through moder
 n machine learning approaches to generative AI (genAI) models capable of
  creating new content such as text\, images\, or code. This course will 
 explore the different forms of AI\, with a particular focus on the impli
 cations and use cases of generative AI for central banks. Key questions 
 include: What role do these various AI technologies play in decision-mak
 ing processes\, and how can their potential be harnessed responsibly? Ho
 w can central banks adapt their strategies and operations to leverage AI
  while managing associated risks?\n\nActive participation is expected fr
 om all attendees\, who are encouraged to contribute to the discussions a
 nd present relevant topics from their national perspective.\n\nContents\
