DESCRIPTION:Objective\n\nParticipants of this online course will have the
opportunity to gain insights into the analysis of geospatial\, forward-
looking physical risk data and tools. To this end\, we will leverage pub
lic global databases and generative AI to support the analyses.\n\nConte

Greening the Financial System (NGFS)\nIntroduction to Spatiotemporal Da
ta and Selected Databases\nCase Study 1: Global Warming\nThe Concept of
“Risk” Related to Climate Change Impacts\nCase Study 2: Hazard and Expos
 ure\nDigression: Damage Functions\n\nTarget group\n\nThis online course
is aimed at staff in central banks and supervisory authorities who are i
nterested in learning how to use gridded climate data\, such as those fr
om the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6)\, together
with gridded exposure data aligned with the Shared Socioeconomic Pathway
s (SSPs) to derive both gridded and country-level indicators by overlayi
ng climate hazards with exposure information for human or ecological sys
tems.\n\nNo prior experience is required\; the session will feature inst
ructor-led demonstrations of code-based workflows\, supported by generat
 ive AI\, rather than a full hands-on training.\n\nTechnical requirements
