Objective

Participants of this online course will have the opportunity to gain a broad overview of historical aspects of gold reserves in the monetary system. Furthermore, you will get a close look at the different phases in the development of Germany’s gold reserves and approaches for organising inventory management. The online course will also serve as a convenient forum for central bankers from around the world to enter into discussion and share their expert views.

Target group

This online course is aimed at those working in central banks who are interested in the history of gold as part of the monetary system and its continuing importance up to the present day.
