DESCRIPTION:The aim of the conference is to present state-of-the-art empi
 rical and theoretical research on households’ consumption\, saving\, inv
 estment and borrowing decisions\, households’ reaction to uncertainty\, 
 and expectations formation. \n\nFurther topics include the effects of mo
 netary policy on household behaviour and the macro implications of micro
  behaviour. The focus will be on research that makes use of household-le
 vel data\, such as wealth surveys. \n\nSumit Agarwal (Georgetown Univers
