DESCRIPTION:Sveriges Riksbank will host the 7th Annual Macroprudential Co
 nference in cooperation with De Nederlandsche Bank and the Deutsche Bund
 esbank on 30-31 August 2023. The subjects to be discussed at this year's
  conference include: crypto assets\, stablecoins\, the economics of sanc
 tions\, the Irish financial crisis\, macro shocks and housing markets an
 d the home bias of insurance investments among others.\n\nConferences in
  the series were held in Stockholm in 2015\, 2016 and 2018 and then host
 ed by De Nederlandsche Bank in Amsterdam in 2017 and 2022. In 2019 Deuts
 che Bundesbank hosted a conference in the series.\n\nThis year's keynote
  speaker is Viral Acharya\, New York University.\n\nThe conference provi
 des an excellent opportunity for high-ranking policy makers\, representa
 tives of the private sector and prominent academics from all over the wo
 rld to discuss issues in the macroprudential field (broadly defined). Th
 e research papers written especially for this conference will be availab
 le for download after the conference.\n\nThe conference series is suppor
 ted by a scientific committee consisting of Anil Kashyap\, Nobuhiro Kiyo
 taki\, Arvind Krishnamurthy\, Thomas Philippon\, Rafael Repullo and Hélè
 ne Rey. \n\nThe conference is open for invited speakers and guests only.
