DESCRIPTION:The Research Centre of the Deutsche Bundesbank is organising 
 an International Online Conference on Household Finance on 29-30 April 2
 021. \n\nThe conference concentrates on topics such as household consump
 tion and saving behaviour\, housing decisions\, investment and borrowing
  decisions\, households’ reactions to uncertainty\, the formation of hou
 seholds’ expectations\, disagreements about inflation\, house price deve
 lopments and labour income risks. Further topics include the effects of 
 monetary and fiscal policies on household behaviour\, as well as attitud
 es towards taxation and redistribution and how these are reflected in ho
 usehold behaviour. The focus of the conference is on research that makes
  use of household and person-level data\, such as consumption and wealth
  surveys as well as large-scale online surveys.\n\nThe conference will f
 eature a speech by Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann as well as keynote
  speeches by Annamaria Lusardi and Mariacristina De Nardi.\n\nAn introdu
 ction to four Bundesbank survey datasets (Panel on Household Finances (P
 HF)\, Payment behaviour in Germany 2020\, Bundesbank Online Panel Househ
 olds (BOP-HH) and Bundesbank Online Panel Firms (BOP-F)) will be offered
  to interested participants by Mona Köhler and Daniel Werner from the Re
 search Data and Service Centre prior to the start of the conference on 2
 9 April 2021.
