Dear subscriber,

The Bundesbank has opened a representative office in Brussels alongside those of the European Central Bank and other national central banks, based in the new House of the Euro. The opening ceremony took place on 9 November 2023.

Our team stepped up its on-site presence again at our partner central banks. Read more about the seminar at the Central Bank of Morocco on the topic of financial stability and the conference held in Mauritius on the Basel III reform.

A great number of guests turned up for our international central banking courses in Frankfurt. The course on monetary policy implementation saw presentations by a colleague from the Joint Vienna Institute, alongside many experts from the Bundesbank. We are offering 44 courses in 2024. Why not take a moment to look at our course programme? We have recently added online series on the topics of climate change and the digital euro.

We are delighted to welcome five new colleagues to the CIC team, who will introduce themselves in this newsletter.
