DLT developer for the digital euro

In an environment that encourages innovation and experimentation and maintains flat hierarchies, you will make use of your DLT expertise and play an instrumental role in the digital transformation of payments. This role gives you the freedom to develop new ideas and actively contribute to the payment systems of the future.   • As a DLT developer, you will help to implement DLT-based solutions for central bank digital currency.
  • This role goes beyond traditional development work – here, you will be helping to shape the future of European payments.
  • You will assist in developing and implementing DLT solutions and in programming smart contracts.
  • Your work will help to improve the efficiency and security of our digital payment solutions and promote their integration into existing payment systems.

Unique assets: your skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or equivalent educational qualification or comparable knowledge based on at least three years of professional experience
  • At least two years’ professional experience in software development, including programming and/or DLT development
  • Experience of working with DLT platforms (preferably Hyperledger Fabric), including programming smart contracts
  • Basic knowledge of API development
  • Basic knowledge of IT security (e.g. cryptography)
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD practices and version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to organise work tasks independently and work in a team within an agile environment
  • Very good English and good German communication skills

Remuneration and prospects

Remuneration that corresponds to pay grade E 11 of the wage agreement for the public sector (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst – TVöD) (approximately €60,000 to €81,000, depending on your level of experience), bonuses for exceptional performance, future-oriented public sector job offering reliable working conditions, international working environment, varied tasks, opportunity to gain civil servant status or maintain existing civil servant status (up to A 11), extensive range of training opportunities
