Aus der Befragung im Rahmen des von der EZB durchgeführten Survey of Professional Forecasters (SPF) für das erste Quartal 2021 ergaben sich für die jährliche HVPI-Inflation in den Jahren 2021, 2022 und 2023 Punktprognosen von im Schnitt 0,9 %, 1,3 % bzw. 1,5 %.

2020 wurden etwa 460 000 gefälschte Euro-Banknoten aus dem Verkehr gezogen, 220 000 davon im zweiten Halbjahr. Gegenüber 2019 stellt dies einen Rückgang um 17,7 % dar.
