    „Die deutschen Kreditinstitute sind in guter Verfassung“, sagte Bundesbankvorstand Joachim Wuermeling bei einer Rede an der Frankfurt School. Der Anstieg notleidender Kredite sollte sich für die deutschen Institute zwar in Grenzen halten, dennoch sei es zu früh, Entwarnung zu geben. „Sobald die staatlichen Hilfen auslaufen, dürften die Unternehmensinsolvenzen steigen“, so Wuermeling. Es sei wichtig, mehr Transparenz bei den Kreditrisiken zu schaffen und die Datenkompetenz zu verbessern, um Quellen von Risiken rasch erkennen und austrocknen zu können.

    Die neuen Regeln für die Einreichung von Daten auf Einzelkreditebene treten nach einer Übergangsfrist von drei Monaten ab dem Aktivierungsdatum für ESMA-Meldungen in Kraft. Mit Wirkung vom 1. Oktober 2021 werden der Verbriefungsverordnung unterliegende ABS nur noch dann auf Einhaltung der Kriterien für die Notenbankfähigkeit geprüft, wenn auf Einzelkreditebene aufgeschlüsselte Daten an ein bei der ESMA registriertes Verbriefungsregister übermittelt und die von der ESMA entworfenen Meldebögen verwendet werden.
