Please continue to use ExtraNet or the AMS to submit your external reports. NExt cannot be used until the end of 2025.
The external sector is divided into two business areas in NExt:
- External sector reporting systems – Banks (AWB)
- External sector reporting systems – Nonbanks / Individuals (AWN).
The business areas are broken down into other business topics.
Deutsche Bundesbank will take over the registration of user managers or the extension of existing user managers’ authorisation for the “AWB” business area. We are expected to start activation in July 2025. We will use the applications you have already sent us to create user managers.
A simplified registration procedure will be available in NExt for the “AWN” business area, which can be used probably from the end of 2025. Please note that the external sector is expected to switch to NExt at the end of 2025. For this reason, it is not yet possible to activate AWN in NExt.
