European reporting framework
The European supervisory reporting framework constructed by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB) is a core component of regulatory reporting. The relevant regulations governing this reporting system have their basis in European law. This foundation is comprised of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) as well as the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD) and the Investment Firms Regulation (IFR).
