Die Bundesbank hat eine Liste über den Bestand ihrer Goldbarren nach Lagerorten veröffentlicht: Sie enthält Informationen über die Barren-, Melt- oder Inventarnummern, das Brutto- und Feingewicht sowie die Feinheit der einzelnen Goldbarren.

The Bundesbank's relocation of gold from storage locations abroad is running very much according to schedule. In 2015, 110 tonnes from Paris and 100 tonnes from New York were transferred to Frankfurt. "With 1,402.5 tonnes of gold, Frankfurt has been our largest storage location, ahead of New York, since the end of last year," said Carl-Ludwig Thiele, Member of the Executive Board of the Bundesbank.

Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) und 21 weitere Notenbanken haben als Unterzeichner des Goldabkommens (Central Bank Gold Agreement) beschlossen, das Abkommen nach dessen Auslaufen im September 2019 nicht zu erneuern.

According to Bundesbank Executive Board member Joachim Wuermeling, the situation is stable. “The current crisis shows that we, as supervisors, have learned the right lessons from the last crisis. Many of the measures, which, in some cases, came under sharp criticism, are now proving to be worth their weight in gold,” according to Mr Wuermeling.

The Bundesbank successfully continued and further stepped up its transfers of gold last year. In 2014, 120 tonnes of gold were transferred to Frankfurt am Main from storage locations abroad: 35 tonnes from Paris and 85 tonnes from New York.
