The December 2015 Monthly Report focuses on the outlook for the German economy based on macroeconomic projections for 2016 and 2017. It also contains an analysis of German enterprises’ profitability and financing conditions in 2014 as well as an article on deposit protection in Germany.

Low interest rates and an ample supply of central bank liquidity have helped to ease the tensions on the international financial markets. So far this year, the German financial system has also benefited from this situation. However, the Bundesbank believes that these exceptional financial conditions present risks to financial stability the longer they prevail.

The January 2020 edition of the Monthly Report analyses the upturn in loans to enterprises in Germany between 2014 and 2019 and describes the consequences of rising protectionism.

The June 2015 Monthly Report focuses on the outlook for the German economy based on macroeconomic projections for 2015 and 2016. It also contains articles on "Marketable assets of banks and their role as collateral in the Eurosystem" as well as "Inflation expectations: new instruments, current developments and key determinants.

It also contains an article on “Wage dynamics amid high euro-area unemployment” and an analysis of German enterprises’ profitability and financing conditions in 2015.

The December 2017 edition of the Bundesbank's Monthly Report outlines the prospects for the German economy on the basis of macroeconomic projections for 2018 and 2019, with a look ahead at the year 2020. It also analyses German enterprises’ profitability and financing in 2016 as well as corporate margins in selected European countries and takes a look at the Eurosystem’s financial market infrastructure, focusing on the range of services likely to be offered in the future.

The July 2019 edition of the Bundesbank’s Monthly Report describes co-movements between the exchange rates of major currencies and addresses the topic of crypto tokens in payments and securities settlement.
