The Bundesbank offers internships for students to support their career orientation. You can complete a maximum of two internships at the Bundesbank during your studies:
- One internship during your first bachelor's degree program, provided you have not yet obtained a bachelor's degree.
- Another internship in a later stage of your studies (e.g. during a second bachelor's degree, a master's, or a doctoral program), provided you already hold a bachelor's degree.
Please make sure to indicate in your application which stage of your studies you are currently in and whether you have previously completed an internship with us.

Your letter should indicate your desired work placement period. Please ensure that your documents are complete and legible and attach study regulations if your work placement is mandatory.
If you require a visa for your internship, you can use the “Visa Navigator” provided by the Federal Foreign Office to find out which type of visa you need.
