Die gesamten von Versicherungsgesellschaften im Euroraum gehaltenen Aktiva erhöhten sich im vierten Quartal 2017 auf 7 883 Mrd €, verglichen mit 7 848 Mrd € im vorangegangenen Vierteljahr. Die gesamten versicherungstechnischen Rückstellungen der Versicherungsgesellschaften beliefen sich im letzten Jahresviertel 2017 auf 5 972 Mrd € gegenüber 5 930 Mrd € im vorangegangenen Quartal; 91,2 % waren dabei den versicherungstechnischen Rückstellungen im Bereich Leben zuzuschreiben.
