The currently seventh, version of the Minimum Requirements for Risk Management (MaRisk) was published on 16 August 2021. A special focus was placed on the transposition of the guidelines of the European Banking Authority (EBA) on management of non-performing and forborne exposures as well as on outsourcing into German supervisory practice. In addition, individual requirements from the EBA guidelines on the management of ICT and security risk management, i.e. information and communication technology, were included.

Germany’s current account posted a surplus of €22.5 billion in June 2021, up €9.4 billion on the previous month’s level. This was attributable to an increase in the goods account balance and especially in the invisible current transactions balance comprising services as well as primary and secondary income.

Die Jahreswachstumsrate des Umlaufs an von Ansässigen im Euro-Währungsgebiet begebenen Schuldverschreibungen sank von 5,3 % im Mai 2021 auf 4,3 % im Juni. Die Jahreswachstumsrate des Umlaufs an von Ansässigen im Euro-Währungsgebiet emittierten börsennotierten Aktien belief sich im Juni 2021 auf 2,5 %, verglichen mit 2,3 % im Mai.
