Das Geldmuseum öffnete auch in diesem zur Nacht der Museen die Pforten von 19 bis 1 Uhr. Erstmals gab es ein Unterhaltungsprogramm auf einer Open-Air-Bühne vor dem Museum. Das schlechte Wetter konnte so durch gute Stimmung kompensiert werden.
