Das Direktorium der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB) hat Thijs van Woerden zum Generaldirektor Horizontale Aufsicht ernannt.

Aus Vereinfachungsgründen genügt es, wenn meldepflichtige Institute mit permanenter Fehlanzeige diese nur einmal jährlich (am Jahresende) anzeigen. Davon ausgenommen sind im Laufe eines Berichtsjahres auftretende Fehlanzeigen; hier muss die Fehlanzeige sofort (d.h. am nächstfolgenden Monatsende) abgegeben werden.

Die Europäische Zentralbank (EZB) hat heute eine Studie zu den Umweltauswirkungen der Euro-Banknoten als Zahlungsmittel veröffentlicht. Demnach beliefen sich die mit Banknotenzahlungen verbundenen Umweltauswirkungen im Jahr 2019 auf durchschnittlich 101 Mikropunkte (µPt) je Person im Euroraum.

The G20 is currently considered the main forum for international economic cooperation and is therefore at the heart of multilateral financial diplomacy. Karin Sagner-Kaiser of the CIC and Prof. Andreas Igl of the Bundesbank’s University of Applied Sciences were at the Bank of Mauritius. They explained the Basel III reform in detail to an audience of around 60 people working in banking supervision and at credit institutions.

As part of the Bundesbank Invited Speakers Series, Beatrice Weder di Mauro held a talk entitled “Still too big to fail? The need for reform after the demise of Credit Suisse”. She was invited by the Bundesbank’s Research Centre, whose director, Falko Fecht, hosted the proceedings.

Der gewichtete Indikator der Kreditfinanzierungskosten für neue Kredite an Unternehmen stieg infolge des Zinseffekts um 17 Basispunkte auf 5,26 %; der entsprechende Indikator für neue Wohnungsbaukredite an private Haushalte blieb mit 3,91 % weitgehend unverändert. 

Am 2. November 2023 genehmigte der EZB-Rat die Zulassung der Scope Ratings GmbH als externe Ratingagentur für die im Rahmenwerk für Bonitätsbeurteilungen im Eurosystem beschriebenen Zwecke.
