The Monthly Report December 2014 describes the outlook for the German economy based on macroeconomic projections for the years 2015 and 2016 and comments on the financing and profitability of German enterprises in 2013.

The January 2014 edition of the Monthly Report analyses in several essays the reform measures taken by the economic and monetary union member states in the course of the current adjustment processes.

The December 2013 Monthly Report comments on the outlook for the German economy as macroeconomic projections for 2014 and 2015. In addition, an analysis of the German enterprises’ profitability and financing in 2012 is included; furthermore an outlook for European retail payments (SEPA) is described and the new importance of repo markets in a changing financial system is reconsidered.

Das Bundesministerium der Finanzen (BMF) hat die Deutsche Bundesbank im Jahr 2002 gebeten, eine Studie über den Bargeldbedarf in Deutschland vorzulegen. Diese Studie soll sowohl eine makroökonomische Analyse über die quantitative Entwicklung des Bargeldes enthalten als auch qualitative Aspekte, die den Bargeldbedarf beeinflussen können.
