The September 2013 Monthly Report explains the performance of German credit institutions in 2012 and the development of government interest expenditure in Germany. In addition, a workshop report to predictive models in the short-term economic analysis is included.

The January 2016 Bundesbank Monthly Report examines alternative indicators of price competitiveness as determinants of real exports, analyses investment in the euro area and discusses the supervision of Germany's less significant institutions.

The December 2015 Monthly Report focuses on the outlook for the German economy based on macroeconomic projections for 2016 and 2017. It also contains an analysis of German enterprises’ profitability and financing conditions in 2014 as well as an article on deposit protection in Germany.

The April 2019 Monthly Report presents the results of the 2017 survey on household wealth and finances in Germany and analyses the interest rate pass-through in the low interest rate environment. It also contains an article outlining reform options for the European Stability and Growth Pact as well as an article describing how the Stability Council will monitor the German debt brake as of 2020.
