Charlotte Kimmel Senior Advisor for Financial Stability
Charlotte Kimmel joined the Centre for International Central Bank Dialogue in May 2019 as senior advisor for financial stability issues. In this position, she is responsible for designing, preparing and running international as well as bilateral training activities for central bankers on financial stability issues.
Before she joined the CIC team, she had been working in the field of financial stability since 2006. From 2010‐2012, she worked in Directorate General Financial Stability at the ECB. Charlotte has been working on various policy issues relating to financial stability: e.g. macro‐prudential approaches to NPLs, the consequences of Brexit for the German banking sector and G‐SIB monitoring. She conducted profound policy work in the fields of recovery and resolution of banks, the European Banking Union and the influence of separate banking systems on financial stability.
