This section contains all the information you will need regarding external sector reporting. Statistical reports relating to the external sector comprise incoming and outgoing payments (transactions) as well as the status of claims, liabilities and direct investment.

Before you can register to submit reports pursuant to the Foreign Trade and Payments Regulation electronically, you must apply for a reporting number.

General statistics reporting portal

The general statistics reporting portal (AMS) is the standard channel for creating and sending external transaction and stock reports. The portal already has more than 100,000 users in Germany who appreciate it as a secure, electronic means of transmitting their reports to the Bundesbank.
